Vivantiworldwide.com is a website and motorhome booking agent of Reiseteam Ittigen AG (Ltd.), Talgut-Zentrum 25, 3063 Ittigen, Switzerland (Reg.-Nbr. CH-035.3.013.436-2).
Reiseteam Ittigen AG is a full member of IATA (IATA travel agent), SRV (Swiss travel agency association) and Reisegarantie, which is an insolvency insurance company of Switzerland.
All bookings by our customers are subject to our terms and conditions. The customer acknowledges that in making a booking with Vivantiworldwide.com he or she does so only on the basis of the material contained on our website, vouchers or information provided on the telephone by Vivantiworldwide.com employees.
Rental agreement
Vivantiworldwide.com acts as a motorhome rental agent for selected independent rental companies in the countries in which it operates. Bookings made through Vivantiworldwide.com are subject to these terms and conditions. The rental of the vehicle is based on the rental contract of the rental company and subject to the law of the country in which it the vehicle is supplied to you. Please note that the rental of the vehicle will be subject to the law of the country in which it is supplied to you and for this reason you will be required to sign a rental agreement with the rental company which supplies the vehicle. You should satisfy yourself that you understand and agree to its terms and conditions, as you will be subject to, and must comply with these terms, and the local law. Local charges
Vivantiworldwide.com cannot accept liability for any charges incurred on documentation signed for and accepted by the customer locally. We endeavour to include on our quotation system all prices applicable however with some rental companies certain items or services can only be purchased locally and may be subject to local taxes.
Limitations of responsibility / Driver responsibility
Vivantiworldwide.com endeavour to ensure that all information portrayed on this website are correct and true however Vivantiworlwide.com do not accept any responsibility for any alterations or amendments made without their knowledge. Vivantiworldwide.com have the right to alter the Terms and Conditions at anytime. Vivantiworldwide.com will not be held responsible for anyone driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, causing wilful damage, off road driving or driving without due care and attention. The customer will accept responsibility in respect of such claims. You as the client are responsible to ensure that your travel plans allow you to make the correct collection and return time for your Motorhome booking.We cannot be responsible for any costs that may be incurred if collection or return times are not met. You will be responsible for any additional costs incurred in these circumstances. You are also soley responsible to ensure that your health is in good order to travel and to drive and operate the Motorhome , you will be asked to sign drivers health declaration to this effect. You must also ensure that your driving licence is valid to drive in your chosen country of travel ie without serious endorsements. Failure to do so will be the sole responsibility of the client, this includes Visa, identification and citizenship issues. We recommend that usage of website information of government bodies would assist you in ensuring you fulfill travel requirements.
Bookings
All vehicles and offers presented on our website, in our brochures or individually to our customers by email or on the phone by a Vivantiworldwide.com employee are subject to availability, all rates are subject to change if not specified otherwise.
Booking requests are answered within 1 to 3 business days. We check the availability of your request and confirm the reservation of the vehicle to you by email. It is your responsibility to ensure that the email address provided to us is a correct and functioning email address that belongs to customer (invoice recipient and lead driver). By sending a booking request to us, the customer has acknowledged and agreed to the our terms and conditions and he or she is willing to accept the booking confirmation based on the rental costs listed on the request and any other relevant costs based on the terms & conditions of Vivantiworldwide.com and the rental company selected. Such costs include but are not limited to charges and fees payable upon vehicle pick-up and/or drop-off such as additional driver fees, additional kilometre/mileage charges, cleaning charges, one-way fees etc.
What is included in your booking?
All bookings include the reservation of the vehicle and the rental dates selected. All rentals include a basic liability and collision damage insurance with a deductible 'deposit' incase of an insurance claim, additional insurance can be taken to reduce this deductable amount , for individual details please see the 'Our Partners' links available on the left handside menu options. Furthermore, most bookings include vehicle preparation and camping equipment (convenience kits) as well as limited or unlimited free kilometres/miles and local taxes. When making a booking through our website, you will find the inclusions of your booking listed in detail, before you send the request to Vivantiworldwide.com. These inclusions will also be listed on our confirmation/invoice and the travel voucher.
What is not included in your booking?
All rental companies offer a certain range of add-ons to personalise your reservation. You may choose to buy extra kilometres/miles, add on additional drivers , young driver charge, additional insurance coverage, extra equipment or permits to drive in otherwise restricted areas ie accrossCountry borders. For full details please see the individual terms and conditions of each rental company under the Our partners button on our menu option.
How to pay for your booking?
Once a booking is confirmed a deposit is due immediately. However you will find on choosing that you are given options for payment sometimes with early payment discounts, as a general rule the payment terms are as follows:
If the reservation is made 90 or more day prior to the vehicle pick-up date, the deposit equals 30% of the total amount of the booking (minimum USD 500.00 GBP £250.00). The remaining amount is due no later than 42 days prior pick-up.
For bookings made within 90 days of the vehicle pick-up date, the total amount of the reservation is due immediately.
Some special offers are only available in conjunction with strict pre-payment policies (early bird offers), which may differ above from the payment policy. Such stricter policies are clearly indicated with each relevant offer.
Insurance
Please note that the insurance details are part of the rental agreement between the you and the rental company and as such these vary depending on the rental company you have chosen. For the insurance details of our rental partners please use the 'Our Partners' link on the menu button on the left handside of the screen. If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact the office.
Drivers age
If you are under 25 or over 65 years old please inform us at the time of booking. Age restrictions may apply for bookings with certain rental companies, and in some cases there may be a young drivers charge or an additional young drivers deposit payable locally.
Flight information / pre-stay information
Various rental companies offer free pick-up/drop-off transfers between selected areas (e.g. airports) and the rental stations. If you intend to make use of such a service, you are asked to provide your arrival/departure information (flight number, arrival time, pre-rental hotel etc.) to Vivantiworldwide.com no later than 10 working days prior to your vehicle pick-up. No responsibility can be accepted or compensation allowed for a failed rental or transfer due to the late provision of this information.
Special requests
We ask you to inform us about special requests such as early pick-up or drop-off times, special equipment (e.g. child seats, bike racks) when you are submitting your booking request. Depending on request, we will then inform you, if the request is available.
Cancellations and Booking Amendments
Any request for cancellation or alteration of a booking must be received by this office in writing by either email or fax. Any cancellation charges due will be effective from the day of receipt by the rental company of the notice. Please note an administration fee may apply For amendments and partial or full cancellations of confirmed bookings, Vivantiworldwide.com levy a charge of USD 150 GBP £75.00 in addition to a variable non-refundable percentage of the rental price. These variable charges depend on the period between the cancellation and the pick-up date and differ with each rental company. Please see the Our Partners menu button for full details. If for reasons beyond our control your booking has to be cancelled Vivantiworldwide.com will endeavour to assist you with making a replacement booking.
Driver license
For your motorhome rental, you will also be asked to provide a valid national driver license (and an English translation or international driver license if you are a resident from a non-english speaking country) along with your personal ID (e.g. passport). It is your responsibility to make sure that your driving licence is valid to drive in your country of destination. For example in the UK you must have a minimum of 2 years driving experience under a full valid licence before you are able to hire a Motorhome.
Travel documents
Vouchers are provided to the customer by email or alternatively by post approximately 14 days prior to departure and are only dispatched after the full amount of the booking is received by Vivantiworldwide.com.
Please note that when travelling to a foreign country, you will have to pass immigration with the documents required by the country you wish to enter. Such documents may include but are not limited to passport, identity card, visa, proof of vaccinations etc. Please make sure that you have all necessary documents ready and with you, when travelling. For details on the documents required to enter a specific country we advise you to contact its embassy or consulate of your destination or airline with which you will travel to the destination.

Important information - Our Partners right to refuse - Your right to good service
Our local rental partner (rental company) can refuse to provide a vehicle to any customer who is, in their opinion, unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances your contract with us will terminate immediately, and we will have no further liability to you, and no refund will be due. Alternatively if you feel that you any reason for complaint or experience any problems during your hire please contact the rental company immediately and to enable them to rectify the problem.
Number of travelling Passengers /sleeping passengers
Vehicles are booked and insured for a maximum number of passengers travelling and/or sleeping in the Motorhome. The law varies in each country regarding seat belts for travelling passengers and sleeping , these local laws must be adhered to at all times. Failure to do this will invalidate your insurance cover. You are also responsible to make sure that the size of vehicle that has been reserved is adequate to accomodate the size of party and luggage, Vivantiworldwide.com cannot be held responsible in any way for any inadequacies.
Driving restrictions
Restrictions may be applicable when crossing country and state borders as well as due to seasonal circumstances (e.g. hot desert areas, snow-covered mountain crossings etc.) or due to excessive risk of loss or damage (e.g. driving into Manhattan, New York ). Please consult our reservations department at the time of booking as to whether a questionable border, desert or mountain crossing is permitted and what, if any, charges apply.
Security Deposits
Deposits vary by destination and rental company.
All customers will be required to leave a Security deposit. including theft waiver excess (where applicable). To do so, a valid credit card in the name of the lead driver, must be produced upon collection of the RV/Campervan, as a form of deposit. Cash deposits are rarely accepted.
Deposits will in most cases be charged onto the credit card this deposit will be refunded to your card when the vehicle is returned and deemed by the rental company to be in a clean and proper condition, that is without any damages. It is usual that the rental company have up to 7 days in which to inspect the vehicle and return the deposit, wholly or fully or part thereof to you.
How a contract is formed with Vivantiworldwide.com
Whether you book over the phone or via our website. However you book, it is important to understand how and when a contract is formed.
The technical steps required for a contract to be formed are as follows:
- When we quote prices over the telephone or place products on our website we are inviting you to accept our offer for their purchase. You can accept our offer by pressing the "Book Now" button on the quoting system.
- You will then have made Vivantiworldwide.com an offer to purchase the product once you have either sent your booking request to us or expressed your will to book verbally. Vivantiworldwide.com will then accept this offer when it has both sent you a Confirmation Invoice and received full payment of your booking. Once done there is a binding contract between you and Vivantiworldwide.com.
Consequential loss
Vivantiworldwide.com is not responsible for any foreseable losses that you may suffer as a result of Vivantiworldwide.com breaking the boooking agreement. Foreseable losses are only when they could be contemplated by Vivantiworldwide.com at the time that the booking is taken .
Force majeure
Vivantiworldwide.com shall not be liable itself or vicariously through its local rental partners for either a failure to perform or delay in performing any of its obligations under or pursuant to this booking, voucher, reservation, rental or terms and conditions, if and in so far as performance is delayed, hindered or prevented by force majeure, which expression shall mean any event beyond the reasonable control of the party in question. "force majeure" includes ( without limitation) threat of war or actual war, civil unrest, rioting,industrial disputes, terrorism activities, and any natural or nuclear disaster.
Complaints and Ombudsman
Vivantiworldwide.com is devoted to provide the highest possible level of service quality and customer care. We select our rental partners very carefully and intend to work only with partners who share our sense for quality. However, even with utmost care, you might once face a situation, in which you feel mistreated or misunderstood by either Vivantiworldwwide.com or one of its rental partners. If so, you are asked to contact Vivantiworldwide.com immediately after such incident has occurred. Vivantiworldwide.com shall be given the chance to correct a possible failure of its service. Any serious dispute arising would be referred to the Ombudsman bureau of Zurich, address 383, 8034 Zurich. The contract is subject to the law of Switzerland and any dispute would be under the jurisdiction of Berne, Switzerland.
